Youth Activities

SBCA provides variety of youth programs including:

Soccer, baseball Basketball, after school reading program, English language competition, juvenile services, gang prevention.

Tackle Football - Grades 5-8
One team of 30 plays in valley league. Games held on Saturdays. Weight limits for ball carriers. Registration in late July. Season: September-October.

Flag Football - Grades 2-5

Six week program, games played Saturdays at south junior high School Field. Registration in September. Season: Mid-September to early November.

Volleyball - Grades 5-8
Teams play area youth leagues/clubs. Mid-September practices; one weeknight game and one Saturday tournament. Registration in September. Season: September to October.

Boys & Girls Basketball - Grades 1-6

Teams of combined grades play with area Boys & Girls Clubs.  Games held week nights in Ann morrison or Corvallis.  Registration in November.  Season:  January - March.

Biddy Basketball - Grades 1-4

Teams participate in youth league with Ann Morrison Park & Recreation Department.  One practice a week in Ann Morrison.  Games played Saturdays in  garden city . Registration in November.  Season:  January - March.

Baseball/Softball/T-Ball - Grades K-8

Age and skill level determine team composition.  Registration in March/April.  Season starts late May, ends mid-July.

After-school Childcare Program/Stars

After School Childcare Program (Stars) enriched, state certified childcare is offered after-school each day at Clemens Primary School from 2:30-6:00PM and on selected in-service and vacation days. Kindergarten through 5th grade students are eligible for care.  Snacks and a planned activity are provided each day. Limited scholarships are available. Program operates in partnership with the ACD TEAM

Summer Child Care/Fun in The Sun

A full day summer child care program is offered for children in kindergarten through 4th grade.  The program offers all day or half day activities including crafts, swimming, nature hikes, games and movies.  One out-of-town field trip is offered each week at no fee. SBCA Computer Training

our office is open from after school - 9:00 am. , Monday-Friday for all the Community at large, the computer class is designed for Adult, youth, and all other young students interested in the field of MS Word, MS Excel, Power-point, and all soft ware and hard ware programs.

for all our student are based on first come and first serve. all the communities are welcome to study.

Location – The SBCA office located at 820 S. Latah street, Boise Idaho

Registration Deadline – the winter class registration will start in Dec 20th 2009 to January 18th 2010, please hurry up and register today it’s free and sponsored by SBCABOISE.org. the purpose for the class is to educate the adult and the youth to understand how to use safely to the Computer and the Internet.

Location Safety Town is held at the Jefferson Primary School gym at 535 S. 19th in Jefferson

Deadline – Registrations will be accepted until June 9th on a first come, first serve basis. Late registrations will be accepted with a $5.00 late fee based on opening availability thereafter.
